Built to last easy to use tiller.

I have a small allotment and was finding the digging rather a pain(literally) in the back. The need for a rotavator / tiller was a needed investment. I looked at many different models at a slightly cheaper price but felt that they would be too light or didn't have the same build quality of a Honda Product. Having hired a rotavator last year I found reverse gear especially useful and was therefore a key item on my must have list. Especially good for those tricky corners. For the price this product is ideal and worked perfectly on my allotment. The soil is clay with added compost so after winter rather compact. I also had a few trenches in the ground from where I grew potatoes etc. The engine in very powerful and could be a problem for some. I however, found it to be OK and managed 20 minutes with no problems. It started first time with little effort. The instructions were mainly in pictorial form but could be understood if studied carefully. Once you have done it for the first time its really very easy. I had to wheel the rotavator to my allotment. About a 10 minutes walk. I am just over 6ft and could lift the handles high enough to move it like a wheelbarrow. It was heavy after a while but manageable. This could be the other problem for shorter people or those that find heavy items hard to lift. Impossible to lift on your own and difficult with two. Cleaning of the item after use was very easy as the tines can be removed by a spring clip. Cleaning using a brush was all that was needed. I am very pleased with the item and so glad I spent a bit more for a quality item that will clearly last. The extra weight helped to stop it bounce atop of the ground and really dug into the clay soil with ease. Also pleased with the company I bought it from. Good tracking of the product and came ready to use. Review by Mr R Jones

Easy to operate, reverse gear takes out the hard work when needed . Powerful enough to tackle jobs that my old merry tiller did for 20 years but so much easier on my body Review by David Baker
