Order easy, delivery very quick, price good. Came very well packed complete with wheels, oil and skid bar. No assembly instructions so a bit of head scratching but ok.

Important - read the manual, or at least the information bits.

I set it up to run as slowly as possible without stalling, a bit of trial and error required. We have heavy soil which has been compacted so need power, but not too much. First thing I discovered was that the skid bar is worse than useless. it just digs in and prevents you puling the unit backwards, so consigned to the bin. You need some strength to stop it running away with you and the handle bars could do with being a bit wider.

Feet (stout boots) planted firmly on the ground, don't try and walk with it, then move it backwards and forwards and side to side until you have reached the required depth and coverage. Then move forwards carefully. Check the blades regularly for roots as they do tend to wind themselves round the base of the blades and are difficult to remove if you let them build up too much. It has done a good job and am pleased with it but its not a machine for the weak or fainthearted.

As usual Honda have made a good piece of kit. Review by Tony
